TUCKSHOP ACCUSED OF SLAVERY
Former worker blows whistle on attrocities

Wednesday 18 April 2001

In an unexpected a shocking press release today, former tuckshop lady has told of the miserable, illegal activities taking place in the Bundaberg State High School tuckshop. Mrs. Deborah Smyth today announced that she and over a dozen workers had been forced to work in the tuckshop as drugged out slaves. Mrs. Smyth said that she first joined the tuckshop because one of her friends, who remains unnamed, coaxed her into helping the school. After agreeing to give it a try, Mrs. Smyth was slipped suppressant drugs in her coffee, removing her free will. "I had no idea what they were trying to do to me," said Mrs. Smyth through her press release, "there seemed to be two or three ringleaders who were controlling the affairs at the tuckshop...in charge of keeping us subdued and luring new workers to join us."

Mrs. Smyth recovered from the effects of the drugs when her husband forbid her from going to the tuckshop and took her to see the doctor. After being informed of the drugs present in her system, Mrs. Smyth immediately went to the police and told the story.

Mrs. Pam Driver, tuckshop convener at Bundy High, was arrested yesterday on numerous charges, and is being held in custody overnight.

Bundaberg State High School principal Dave Wilkinson declined to comment on the matter under legal advice. Mrs. Smyth has also mentioned Mr. Wilkinson's name in her two-page release as one of the big bosses in the mind control scheme. Mr. Wilkinson has not yet been charged, but is being held in the police station with Mrs. Driver.

More news as it breaks.
