"FREE" DRESS DAY REALLY A SCAM
Students accuse school of false advertising
Wednesday 16 May 2001
In the aftermath of yesterday's Free Dress Day, several students have raised some very interesting
points with The Unofficial Bundy High Newsletter about the accuracy of such a name.
"Stewart" (not his real name) told us that after turning up with the casual clothes that he was
instructed to wear by the Wilkinson Administration, he was ordered to pay a 50 cent fine by student
leaders, clearly in contrast to the "Free Dress Day" advertised. After refusing to pay the toll for
simply wearing clothes, "Stewart" was taken down to the Administration building where he was
consequently beaten by several members of the Wilkinson Administration.
Similarly, after Bundy High student "Michelle" (also not her real name) told her mother about the
upcoming free dress day, her mother told her to "get one for me too." After arriving at the school
yesterday, "Michelle" was told by Bundy High staff that there was, in fact, no free dresses on offer at
the school, also a direct contradiction to the advertised "Free Dress Day".
At this stage, it is unknown if the school will be sued for false advertising, but there certainly is some
questions for the Wilkinson Administration to answer about the "Free Dress Day."
